Celebrate Motherhood at these St. Louis County Library Events

The St. Louis County Library system is honoring moms by hosting a variety of free programs for kids. The programs include storytelling, movies, crafts, cupcakes, pampering and more. All programs are free and open to the public.
 
It’s All about Mom
Wednesday, May 4, 4 p.m.
Kids can make a gift and a card for mom. Recommended for grades 2-5. Registration required.

Mother’s Day Craft
Wednesday, May 4, 4 p.m.
Kids can create a homemade gift for mom for Mother’s Day. Recommended for ages 6-12. No registration required.

Mommy Stories and Craft
Thursday, May 5, 10 and 11:30 a.m.
Kids can listen to stories about all kinds of mothers and make a craft to take home for mom. Stories and activities are recommended for ages 3 – 6, but all are welcome.

Super Saturday: Mother’s Day Celebration
Saturday, May 7, 2 p.m.
Celebrate Mother’s Day with at the library, where kids can make fun gifts and watch The Incredibles. (Rated PG). Snacks are provided. This program is open to kids in grades kindergarten through 5. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Mother’s Day Cupcake Party
Saturday, May 7, 10 - 11 a.m.
Bring your kids and make something special this Mother’s Day weekend. Watch as cake decorator Jeannie Gearin demonstrates several different decorating techniques. Then design and decorate your own cupcakes. Recommended for moms and children ages 6-11. One adult per child. Auditorium. Registration required.

All About Mothers: Evening Story Time
