
Year after year, Webster Groves Community Days continues to be one of the most popular community celebrations in the area. The four-day event takes place from July 3-4 and features the traditional carnival rides, barbecue, parade and fireworks that crowds have come to love.
The carnival and BBQ will take place on the grounds of the Eden Seminary at the corner of Lockwood & Bompart July 3-6 and includes rides, carnival food, and live music. A children's pet parade takes place July 3 at 5:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
Thursday, July 4 includes one of the region's most popular July 4th parades at 10 a.m., a carnival with rides and a midway from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., and live entertainment in the evening. A spectacular fireworks display begins at 9:45 p.m. at Memorial Field.

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
Storytelling in the Museum is an in-person storytelling event happening at 10:30 a.m. at the Missouri History Museum. This event, perfect for the preschool set, features engaging stories with themes like Grandparents Day, Hispanic Heritage Month, and mealtime. Storytelling in the Museum is free.
