Year after year, Webster Groves Community Days continues to be one of the most popular community celebrations in the area.

Events include a reading of the Declaration of Independence on Wednesday, July 1 at 6 p.m. in front of Webster Groves City Hall with live music by the Webster Groves High School Band.

A 4th of July Carnival, hosted by the Webster Groves Lions Club takes place on the grounds of the Eden Theological Seminary at Lockwood and Bompart July 1-3 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. each day and July 4 from 2-8 p.m.

One of the region's most popular July 4th parades begins at 10 a.m., at Lockwood and Mason. Floats travel a two-mile route to Memorial Park near Elm and Glendale. To top off the multi-day celebration, a spectacular fireworks display begins at 9:15 p.m. at Memorial Field.

The Missouri History Museum celebrates education and family learning with History Exploration Days! One Friday per month from September to May, homeschool families with kids of all ages can explore a different historical topic—together! All activities are FREE. Explore St. Louis history in new and exciting ways through interactive guided gallery tours, hands-on workshops, and community performances that align with each month’s theme, encouraging investigation, exploration, and creative fun. Activities are offered at various times throughout the day and are customized for specific grade-level groups.

Storytelling takes place in the morning, and all ages are welcome. Visit the craft room for fun learning experiences, with museum educators available to help learners participate in meaningful ways. Topics this school year include colonial St. Louis, baseball, Black history, and wildlife. Detailed schedules for each day will be posted to the Museum’s website.
