Pet lovers heading to Purina Farms this spring and summer will notice some exciting developments at one of the region’s favorite free family attractions. After a multi-year construction project, Purina Farms is putting the final touches on its revamped Visitor Center to create a more welcoming and inviting place where guests of all ages can learn about dogs, cats, and the rest of our furry and feathered friends.

Starting in June, families can meet Sue, the most complete, best-preserved Tyrannosaurus rex ever found, in the Lou! The Saint Louis Science Center will welcome SUE: The T. rex Experience beginning June 8. The special exhibition features the latest scientific discoveries about the species as a whole along as well immersive, sensory exploration of life in the Cretaceous period.

This season, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra (SLSO) will once again hit the stage for its popular Family Concert series. Featuring three captivating performances, the series ensures orchestral concerts are accessible for families and thrilling for their kiddos, whether they’re regular concert-goers or experiencing the magic of SLSO for the first time. Add to the series SLSO family movie nights and digital concerts, and it’s an action-packed season for every music lover.

Back by popular demand! The Greenway Quest from Great Rivers Greenway awaits, and this year your mission is a truly buzzworthy scavenger hunt! Take to the St. Louis area's greenways (and City Museum) to find one of 250 hand-painted bee rocks along the trails.
