It's going to be a Great Adventure at Olympia Gymnastics this summer! Say Aloha to summer by joining us for a summer jam-packed with learning gymnastics and ninja skills, fun activities and games, and art & science projects all linked to our unique weekly themes. Campers can have a Nerf battle during Nerf week, be sneaky like a ninja during Ninja week, try to beat the clock with our Minute to Win It week, or make slime during our arts and sciences week.

Our summer camps are full of activities designed to engage and foster learning. Olympia's trained and safety-certified staff are devoted to the well-being of our camp kids and truly enjoy engaging with children. Our summer camps run weekly June - August and we offer half days as well as full-day camps for children ages 5 & up (hours and themes may vary by location). Registration is open!

The annual Kirkwood Greentree Festival will be held September 13 - 15 in Kirkwood Park. This free, family festival features a parade that steps off on Saturday at 10 a.m. beginning at Kirkwood High School, entertainment and food vendor booths, and kids activities.

Applefest at Eckert Farms

Wagon rides, live entertainment, great festival foods, a petting zoo and much more make this an apple pickin' good time for the whole family. There will be pony rides, a children's carnival, opportunities to feed goats and other farm animals, caramel apples, funnel cakes and more.

Sea Lion Shows at the Saint Louis Zoo

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.

The Wabash, Frisco & Pacific Railroad invites you and your kiddos to come ride the train! The Wabash, Frisco & Pacific is a historic, 12-inch gauge live steam train in Glencoe, Missouri, that is open most Sundays for public train rides. Reservations are required.

Lace up and leash up for a great cause! You and your dog are invited to run, jog, or walk in the Purple Leash 5K & Fun Run at Purina Farms on October 12. Compete for top dog in our 5K race or take it easy in our 1-mile fun run. Put your paws to the pavement and then head over to the TAILgate after party for food, drinks, music and more all while raising awareness for the Purple Leash Project. All purple outfits and purple dog gear are highly encouraged! The Purple Leash Project was born out of the Purina mission to bring and keep pets and people together and the RedRover® mission to bring people and their pets from crisis to care.
