Babies and Toddlers

Head to Forest Park for the annual Great Forest Park Balloon Glow and Race.

Enjoy tons of family fun at Chesterfield's Fall Festival. There will be live music, miniature pony rides, a petting zoo, carnival rides, pumpkin painting, a mechanical bull, balloon twisters, a photo booth, hay rides and plenty of festival food. Visit the vendor area to shop for crafts, too.

Enjoy food from dozens of local restaurants and refreshments from local breweries and wineries. There will also be lots of vendor booths featuring farmers and artisans, and live music.

Little Buds is a half-day nature program for kids ages 3-6 hosted by Laumeier Sculpture Park. At the Little Buds Free Family Day, kids and parents can participate in art and nature activities and learn about the Little Buds program.

It's the Not-So-Haunted House that is oh-so-fun and where storybook characters come alive! Kids are invited to dress in their most "boo-tiful" Halloween costumes and have a ghoulishly good time going on a spook-tacular scavenger hunt throughout The Magic House to find trick-or-treat locations, and seeing their favorite storybook characters.

The Central West End Window Walk features free holiday festivities, including carriage rides, ice carvings, pictures with Santa, carolers, musical & dance performances, s'mores, and beautifully decorated windows.

Daytime Playtime is an open gym for children ages 2-5 where the possibilities for fun and learning (through fun) are endless! Children will participate in activities that build coordination, strength, balance and self-confidence. They'll develop stronger motor skills, social skills, and take part in theme-based creative activities.
