Elementary Age

The Jr. NBA Skills Challenge provides boys and girls, ages 13 and younger, the opportunity to showcase their basketball skills. Free and open to all. Pre-registration is not required. 

Your whole family can be superheroes when you participate in the Superhero Dash, a 5K, one-mile run, walk and roll fundraiser for Unlimited Play. Sign up early to get your official Superhero Dash t-shirt. Costumes are welcome! Unlimited Play supports accessible playgrounds, because all kids deserve to have playgrounds where limitations are forgotten and differences are celebrated. 

Travel to Funland with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and actors from The Black Rep as they bring to life the enchanting tale of Carlo Collodi's most beloved marionette, all while entertaining, educating and introducing your family to the riches of live music. Arrive early to visit the instrument playground.

School Daze Camps at Artscope are a great way for kids to spend their days when school is out. Kids will make fabulous art projects, explore Tower Grove Park, play games, sing songs and make new friends. 

Stay warm this winter, cuddle up with your family and family dog and watch the movie Secret Life of Pets. All family members are welcome to attend this movie showing at the Museum of the Dog.

Kids ages 5 and up, and families, can practice dance moves with a professional dancer at this free library class. Participants will also enjoy a ballet performance.
