Seedfolks, a "spoken musical," chronicles a diverse, immigrant community working together through struggles and triumphs. After a young Vietnamese girl plants beans in a vacant lot to connect with the memory of her father, she unintentionally creates a community garden that begins to bridge divides across her neighborhood.

Kode with Klossy

Keen on learning how to code? Have a knack to hack? Kode with Klossy wants you! This free, two-week summer program for young women ages 13-18 teaches participants to build real-life apps whether they've never written a line of code in their lives or they are full-fledged hackers. Kode with Klossy creates learning experiences and opportunities for young women that increase their confidence and inspire them to pursue their passions in a technology driven world. The St. Louis Kode with Klossy program will be held June 3-14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Applications are due March 31.

Sea Lion Shows at the Saint Louis Zoo

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
