Tumble down the rabbit hole with Alice as she falls into the madcap world of Wonderland in this STAGES St. Louis presentation of Disney's Alice in Wonderland.

On her journey, Alice meet some extraordinary characters, like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, and the frantically late White Rabbit. Inviting and magical, Disney's Alice in Wonderland is a fantastic adventure the whole family can enjoy. Arrive early for pre-show entertainment.

Iron Kid Triathlon

Your kids can test their might and compete with their peers in the Iron Kid Triathlon sponsored by St. Louis County Parks.

The competition consists of three part - a swim, bicycle ride and run. There will be two age divisions, 7-10 years and 11-14 in this friendly competition. Parents are encouraged to volunteer.

8 a.m. to noon at the Pavilion at Lemay. Cost is $20 per child in advance and $25 on the day of the event.

See a live performance by Monkey Tales Theatre Company at this free performance that teaches kids that everyone is unique and has their own special gifts.

In King Botany's Garden, the three princesses, Lily, Rose and Ivy, must show their father, King Botany, that they have what it take to rule the kingdom while he is away.

Shrek the Musical Jr.

In Shrek the Musical Jr., follow the adventures of an ogre who sets off on a quest to save a princess from a dragon. However, it turns out that to succeed, Shrek must battle an even bigger obstacle: learning how to believe in himself and open his heart to others.

This very family-friendly performance is presented by COCA.

Two performances: Friday, June 24 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, June 25 at 1 p.m. Tickets are $6 to $10.

At Miriam School, students with complex learning differences are supported and celebrated as they grow academically, socially and emotionally. Miriam provides a tailored educational experience for learners in grades K-12 who have not found success in traditional classroom settings. Celebrate the 100th anniversary of Route 66 at the Missouri History Museum during this four-day festival (April 30–May 3) exploring the Mother Road’s stunning scenery, quirky roadside attractions, and complex history. All activities are FREE! The festival kicks off on Thursday, April 30 with an outdoor concert featuring Sweetie and the Toothaches, playing hits of the 1940s–1960s.

Friday through Sunday, explore activities for all ages. Crafts include making a “neon” sign, creating a car air freshener, and decorating a paper hat for a shift at a roadside diner. Don’t miss the open playroom where families can work together to plan a trip on Route 66 the old-fashioned way—with paper maps and brochures! Make destination decisions, calculate expenses, and plan your route. But that’s not all! Enjoy the classic car show and vintage neon display, and get a bite to eat from local food trucks.
