Take your family to watch birds of prey fly right over your head, snakes slither across the stage, macaws speak the English language and much more at Amazing Animal Encounters at the World Bird Sanctuary. Every program showcases different animals so each day is a new experience.
Amazing Animal Encounters takes place daily through Labor Day at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the World Bird Sanctuary Outdoor Amphitheater. General admission is $10. Children under 12 are $5. Children under 3 are free. Tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Seating is limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Masks are required to attend.

Kids and teens ages 8-15 can learn the basics of using a potter's wheel to make functional clay pieces and non-functional sculptures in Clay Class: Wheel Throwing at Laumeier Sculpture Park.
