Commemorate the 49th anniversary of the completion of the Gateway Arch at the Meet the Builders event. The National Park Service, along with the Jefferson National Parks Association invites the public to meet the builders of the Gateway Arch in the 1960s.

Weather permitting, St. Louisans will get a relatively rare glimpse of a total lunar eclipse. Join the Saint Louis Science Center staff and members of the St. Louis Astronomical Society as they guide you through this exciting viewing event.

Are you curious about the physics of aerial arts and dance? How jugglers hone their craft? The mechanics of magic? Learn all this and more through presentations by professional scientists and performing artists. There will be opportunities for audience participation throughout.

 Hands-on activities begin at 3 p.m. and the program begins at 3:15 p.m.

Guests are welcome to stay after and try Aerial Silks.

Alien Worlds and Androids brings the work of scientists to life in an exhibition that presents the possibility of life existing beyond Earth through the use of robots, telescopes, space probes and high-tech laboratories.

This family-centered play date, sponsored by Parents as Teachers, is designed for parents and their children ages 6 months to 3rd grade. At the block party stations, you'll explore early math and science skills together with your child. At the nature stations, children will do hands-on activities that stimulate their curiosity and understanding of the world around them. Other actitivies include music and a playground.
