Year after year, Webster Groves Community Days continues to be one of the largest Independence Day community celebrations in the area, including one of the most popular 4th of July parades. 

Enjoy food, movies, music and refreshments at Downtown Summer Nights in Kiener Plaza on Thursdays throughout the summer. This weekly celebration takes place in the shadow of the Gateway Arch every Thursday through August 28. Entertainment includes a variety of family movies like Frozen, Mamma Mia, The Wiz and more, live music and even a special presentation of Shakespeare in the Park.

Stroll through the Climatron, play in the Children's Garden and learn about ways your family can reduce, reuse, recycle and create a more sustainable home at this free event at the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Storytime in the Commons is back for another season of fun character visits and outdoor storytimes. At this storytime, explore the fascinating world of science and nature. At Storytime in the Commons: Be My Neighbor Day, kids will learn about being a caring neighbor, meet neighborhood helpers from the St. Louis Public Library and St. Louis Fire Department, and have the opportunity to get their picture taken with Daniel Tiger and Miss Elaina from the PBS Kids series, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.

The Contemporary Art Museum invited families to celebrate creativity, play and togetherness at Family Day. Drop in anytime to participate in free hands-on art activities, games, entertainment for kids from DJ Munchkin, puppet shows, a babywearing movement class, and more.

Kids can learn about the reptiles and amphibians that call Missouri home, and get up close to them too at this presentation by animal experts Debbie and Steve Teson. 

Join the party at City Museum for the all-ages Electric Sky celebration with a 360º view of fireworks all across the St. Louis skyline.
