Sea Lion Shows at the Saint Louis Zoo

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.

Kirkwood Safety Town Exhibit Opens at The Magic House

Kids can learn how to play it safe starting August 24 when Kirkwood Safety Town returns to The Magic House. Co-created by The Magic House and the City of Kirkwood, this interactive exhibit is designed to educate the region's youngest residents about safety. Kirkwood Safety Town features a child-sized neighborhood including a fire station, police station, electric company, farmers market, park, house, and even a train station! Safety Town also features a bike helmet-fitting station and scheduled visits from community helpers, including firefighters and police officers.
