Family New Year's Eve Party at City Museum

Visit City Museum for a New Year's Eve Party for the whole family! Play games like Jenga, cornhole and more, and sing your heart out doing karaoke to your favorite holiday tunes. To celebrate the new year, visitors can pop the balloons from the balloon drop at 8:30 p.m. and enter a raffle to win prizes. There will also be a "champagne" toast to 2023!

Holiday Magic at The Magic House

Celebrate the magic of the holidays the entire month of December at the Holiday Magic experience at The Magic House! Holiday Magic features festive decorations, lots of interactive outdoor attractions like Gingerbread Village (where you can meet and take pictures taken with Santa!), a Wonder Woods Maze, Snowball Carnival, and special holiday programs inside the museum. Dec. 24 hours are 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A Sweet Time with Santa at Play Street Museum

See Santa at Play Street Museum and enjoy his favorite snack with him: cookies and milk! Santa will also read a story and take lots of pictures with everyone who visits. Kiddos are encouraged to wear their favorite holiday attire. Everyone can enjoy crafts, playtime in the museum and their special gift from Santa at the end of the event.

Superhero Halloween Party at MADE for Kids

Kids can wear their favorite costumes and enjoy a super special day, including meeting superheroes like Black Panther, Wonder Woman, Batman and Spiderman (11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day). Visitors can also make their own superhero mask, design their own Halloween costume and create a pipe cleaner superhero.

Pirate Quest Trick or Treating at The St. Louis Aquarium

Chose a pirate name and head to the St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station for Pirate Quest Trick or Treating. Children and annual pass holders will receive a trick-or-treat bag to use to collect pirate booty (aka candy!) There will be six trick-or-treat stations full of treats, how-to-talk-like-a-pirate lessons from Tommy the Otter, storytelling by a pirate and more.

Sea Lion Shows at the Saint Louis Zoo

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
