At Fall Into Science: A-MAIZ-ING Corn Fest, you'll see an "It's A Blast: Ethanol with Enthusiasm" demonstration, enjoy sweet corn ice cream, roasted corn, popcorn and tamales, and a corn salsa demonstration. There will also be a Wood Hat whiskey tasting for mom and dad.
At Fall Into Science: Apple Fest, kids can watch apples being smashed in Science Goes Splat, there will be hard cider and apple wine samples, apple pie, a caramel apple bar, and an apple crisp food demonstration.

While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
