Celebrate nocturnal animals and all the creepy, crawly and cool critters that call Missouri home. At Tails of the Night, visitors at the Wildlife Rescue Center can enjoy costumed hikes, campfires, have close-up critter encounters, and take a behind-the-scenes tour of the wild animal hospital. There will also be autumn treats, glow-in-the-dark interactive art installations, and nature crafts.
Have some Halloween fun with a focus on safety at this free Halloween celebration fire trucks, ambulance tours, a helicopter landing, games and educational booths. Kids are encouraged to wear their costumes for trick or treating, but if you don't have costumes, free costumes will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis.
Halloween parties at the St. Louis Public Library are free! Kids and teens can make their own Frankentoy or craft, watch Halloween movies, and find Halloween candy. Costumes are encouraged!
Families can help light up the trails at Memorial Park in Brentwood at the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular. There will be a pumpkin carving contest for adults and pumpkin painting for kids, free pumpkins and lots of prizes for the winners.

Read to a friendly therapy dog from DUO Dogs, Inc. After the story, the dog's handler will answer any questions kids have about therapy dogs, pet care and more. For ages 3-11. Registration is required for this free program.
