Festival of Nations

Festival of Nations is St. Louis' biggest multicultural celebration, and is back in Tower Grove Park again this year. Enjoy a wide variety of live music, international fare, and gift booths featuring fair trade gifts and hand-made crafts. Guests can also enjoy children's activities.

St. Louis African Arts Festival

Children's activities include storytelling, arts and crafts, mask-making and educational workshops. In conjunction with the festival, the Saint Louis Zoo will have special activities focused on a different African animal each day.

Paint Louis 2016

See more than 100 artists from around the world painting the Mississippi River floodwall in downtown St. Louis during Paint Louis 2016. Kids can take part in Scrap Cans for Kids and learn the art of spray painting.

Benton Park 150th Anniversary Festival

Enjoy a wide variety of live music, make-and-take art project for kids provided by Artscope, food, and fun at this community festival celebrating 150 years of the Benton Park neighborhood.

The festival begins at 11 a.m. with a full schedule of local bands at the Benton Park Pavilllion and Lagoon at the corner of Jefferson and Arsenal.

Adventures abound at Trike Town, the outdoor, child-size city at The Magic House. Kids can pick out their favorite little red tricycle and explore the entire city. The adventure includes a stop at the craft shop, where kids can create their own fall-themed craft, a candy shop, firehouse and more.

Teaching in Room 9 from Nine PBS

New this season, Teaching in Room 9 takes learning beyond the classroom as viewers discover our region's resources. Children will explore the coloring wall at the Missouri History Museum, learn about dinosaurs at the Saint Louis Science Center, and experience African art and mummies at the Saint Louis Art Museum, just to name a few.
