Hans Brinker and the Silver Skates celebrates generosity, helping others and is an exhilarating tale of courage and determination. The original novel by Mary Mapes Dodge has been in print since 1865 and is credited with popularizing the sport of speedskating in the United States. Metro Theater Company presents a modern interpretation of this timeless tale adapted by screenwriter Laura Eason.
Public Performances are Dec. 8-10, 15-17, 22-23, and 26-30. Evening shows are at 7 p.m. and matinees on select days are at 2 p.m. At The Grandel Theatre in the heart of the Grand Center Arts District.
