
Catch the Pixar animated classic A Bug's Life at this outdoor movie night for the whole family. The Butterfly House is celebrating its 25th Anniversary - and so is the movie! In addition to the movie, families can enjoy hours of fun with steel drummers, crafts, glow necklaces and food trucks prior to the movie.
Movie in the Park: A Bug's Life will be held Friday, Sept. 1. "Doors" open at 5:30 p.m. with family activities, and the movie begins at 7:30 p.m.
Admission varies from $4 to $6 per person depending on member status. Ages 2 and under are free.

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
Explore songs, finger plays, music and more during this Music & Movement class for ages 0-6. Some sessions are held in person at various branches of the St. Louis County Library. Some sessions are virtual.
The Magic House, MADE for Kids will be hosting an exhibit of its own as TapeScape, an innovative playscape made almost entirely out of packing tape, opens for play on June 2 in the makerspace.
