
The Midwest Cyber Center of Excellence (MWCCOE) is hosting a free CyberPatriot recruitment and competition geared toward middle and high school students who are interested in cybersecurity.
At the MWCCOE HackSpace Competition, teams of four will compete against each other in an effort to test and expand cybersecurity skills and awareness of the upcoming CyberPatriot IX Competition.
Participants will be challenged with cybersecurity related puzzles from categories like network exploitation, cyber forensics, cryptography, and cyber trivia. Little to no experience in cybersecurity is required. Awards and prizes will follow immediately after the competition. Registration is now open and is free to all middle and high school students.
9 a.m. to noon at Maryville University in the Anheuser-Busch Academic Center.

The Gateway to Reading program is a parent-child workshop that focuses on strengthening reading skills while engaging in fun, literacy-based activities. Participants will receive a free toolkit of materials to help children in their reading journey.
