The Saint Louis Art Fair (SLAF) is a free, three-day celebration of the visual and performing arts. The Art Fair will be held on September 18-20 in Clayton's central business district. The main focus is an easy-access juried exhibition of gallery-quality fine art and crafts with exhibiting artists.

The fair includes the Creative Castle, a special area for kids to take part in hands-on art projects and explore their creativity. Art activities in the Creative Castle are sponsored by the Contemporary Art Museum, New City School, COCA, Girl Scouts, Rohan Woods School, the St. Louis Artists Guild, The Magic House and others.

Families can also enjoy stage performances and booths featuring food from some of St. Louis' top restaurants.

Fair hours are Friday 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Creative Castle hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Missouri History Museum celebrates education and family learning with History Exploration Days! One Friday per month from September to May, homeschool families with kids of all ages can explore a different historical topic—together! All activities are FREE. Explore St. Louis history in new and exciting ways through interactive guided gallery tours, hands-on workshops, and community performances that align with each month’s theme, encouraging investigation, exploration, and creative fun. Activities are offered at various times throughout the day and are customized for specific grade-level groups.

Storytelling takes place in the morning, and all ages are welcome. Visit the craft room for fun learning experiences, with museum educators available to help learners participate in meaningful ways. Topics this school year include colonial St. Louis, baseball, Black history, and wildlife. Detailed schedules for each day will be posted to the Museum’s website.
