Make glow in the dark slime at Play Street Museum! 

Celebrate National Unicorn Day by meeting and having your picture taken with an actual unicorn*, then enjoying a unicorn story time and plenty of unicorn-themed crafts, snow cones, and face painting. 

Come visit World Bird Sanctuary after hours for Sensory Nights on June 29, July 27, and August 31 from 5:30-7:30 with different sensory stations involving nature and recycling, and also meet some of their animal ambassadors!

While the Edwardsville Children’s Museum’s doors have been closed for more than a year due to COVID-19, its team has been hard at work creating brand new exhibits to wow visitors and introducing new safeguards to protect them.

The History Clubhouse at the Missouri History Museum has reopened for one-hour play sessions by reservation. The award-winning History Clubhouse is an interactive space designed for children and families with lots of hands-on experiences showcasing state and local history.

The Magic House's satellite location, MADE for Kids, is hosting an entreprenuer showcase featuring young African American entreprenuers from Young Biz Kids as well as an educational oppourtunity to learn more about the Juneteenth holiday. 

Representing positivity and happiness, Rangoli is a colorful and creative Indian folk-art. Patterns are created on the floor using materials such as chalk, rice flour, flowers, lentils, sand and more. Rangoli formations can range from simple freestyle drawing to complex dot grid drawings. Come join the fun and create patterns outdoors (chalk) and indoors (paper) that are believed to bring good luck! 

Celebrate the masters of both air and water at the Dragonfly festival at The Butterfly House. Join in as visitors take a glimpse into the secretive aquatic life of dragonfly nymphs in the Native Garden pond, and take a short trek to find prime viewing of these aerial daredevils on the hunt. Fun games and adventures will test your abilities against those of our four-winged friends!

Eat, drink and explore all the exhibits you remember as a kid while also experiencing the newest attractions at The Magic House during the Adult Play Date.
