
How can you march to the beat of your own drummer when you're still writing the song? Part theater, part rock concert, all of your favorite characters are here in this new take on Lewis Carrol's beloved, poetic tale of self-actualization.
A cast of actors/musicians plays an eclectic mix of everything from classic rock to ska to punk as 7 1/2-year-old Alice chases through Wonderland in search of her own inner musical voice. Poetry has never been so much fun! Wonderland: Alice's Rock & Roll Adventure introduces young audiences to different instruments, musical styles and famous musicians, and touches on the themes of helping others, understanding emotions, creating welcoming communities and growing up.
This 85-minute show, produced by Metro Theater Company, is perfect for kids in kindergarten and up.
Public performances are set for:
Sundays: Dec. 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 2 p.m.
Friday: Dec. 7, 14, 21 and 28 at 7 p.m.
Saturdays: Dec. 15, 22, and 29 at 7 p.m.
There will also be 2 p.m. matinee shows each day from Wednesday, Dec. 26 through Sunday, Dec. 30.

While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
Immerse yourself in a vibrant sea of sunflowers at Eckerts Sunflower Festival. There will be a variety of activities for all ages, like mini photo sessions, face painting, local vendors, a coffee truck, and of course, wandering through the beautiful 2-acre sunflower fields.
Your baby can paint and scribble with other babies and create a big fun mess at the Baby Art Crawl. This free, one-hour event is sponsored by the St. Louis County Library.
