Embark on a musical adventure with Dan Brown's latest surprise at Wild Symphony: Concerts for Kids from the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. As the SLSO shares this captivating story from The New York Times bestselling author of The Da Vinci Code, illustrated by Susan Batori, we join Maestro Mouse and his animal friends for a very wild symphony indeed! Travel through the trees and across the seas to meet a wonderous whale and impatient ponies, busy beetles, and an eager elephant – each with a special secret to share. At the end of the concert, a fun game of "Are You Smarter than a Zookeeper" will put your animal knowledge to the test.
"Music has always been a part of my life, and some of my earliest and most cherished memories include taking classical piano lessons from my mother, singing in choirs, and attending live orchestra concerts. My intent with Wild Symphony is to provide a fun, fresh opportunity for families, parents, children, and people of all ages to reconnect with the magical experience of live classical music," says Dan Brown, who also composed Wild Symphony.
Dan Brown's Wild Symphony will be held on Saturday, October 5 at 4 p.m. at the Touhill Performing Arts Center. Pre-concert activities begin at 3 p.m.
