Chesterfield Montessori School is opening its annual parenting seminars to the public for the first time this year. These evening events provide families with a deeper understanding of the remarkable world of Montessori education, gain insight into how their children learn, and help them to learn how to bring Montessori into their home environment.
They will also offer an evening with Alumni who come to share how Chesterfield Montessori School and Montessori education have helped to shape their later successes, and have two guest speakers who are experts in their fields.
The first seminar in the series will be held October 20. Topics are:
Toddler Parents (age 16 months through 2-1/2 years), 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm: “Movement and Independence”
Primary Parents (age 2-1/2 through 6 years), 5:30pm to 7:00pm: “An In-Depth Look at Key Montessori Lessons”
Elementary Parents (age 6 through 12 years), 5:30pm to 7:00pm: “Creative Competition and Competent Creativity”
The seminars are free, but registration is required. To RSVP, please send an email to info@chesterfieldmontessori.org
