Winter Break Camps offer your kids a fun way to spend their break from school! They'll participate in engaging activities that will make their school break memorable. We rounded up some fantastic options for Winter Break Camps for kids of all ages. Sign up soon! Many camps fill fast.

Winter Break Camps at the Saint Louis Zoo

Winter Break Camp: Winter Wonderland: How do animals survive the cold winter? Why do some animals migrate, while others hibernate? Campers will explore what is going on in the winter wonderland outside of our own homes. We will learn about migration and hibernation, look for signs of animals in the snow, and more. December 22-24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with optional after care.

Winter Break Camp: Animals A to Z: A is for addax, b is for bald eagle, c is for Chinese alligator. The world is full of some incredible animals, from addax to zebra and everything in between! Campers will play games, create animal art, and visit animals all over the Zoo. Discover the amazing biodiversity on Earth as we explore the alphabet, one letter at a time. December 29-31 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. with optional after care.

These winter break camps are for children in 1st through 5th grades and are limited to 20 participants each.

Winter Camp Extravaganza at Miss Kelly's Gyms in Creve Coeur and Cottleville

Miss Kelly's Gym offers non-competitive, theme-based Winter Break camps in two locations that provide children an opportunity for fitness, fun and total development – not to mention a fantastic way to beat the chilly weather! All camps are gymnastics-based and feature a new, exciting theme each day! Themes include Winter Wonderland, Holiday Goofy Games, Pajama Jam, Dinosaur Ice Age, New Year's Beach Bash, and Pirate & Mermaid Adventure and Arctic Animals. Theme-related activities include games, obstacle courses, arts & crafts, and lots of imagination! Miss Kelly's offers flexible scheduling: You pick which camp days/times will work for your schedule. Sign up for one day or all week. 

Winter Break Camp at Miss Kelly's Gym

Camps at the Creve Coeur location will be held December 22, 2025, through January 2, 2026. Camps at the Cottleville location will be held on December 23, 26, 29 and December 30, 2025. Camps will be held twice a day, mornings from 9 a.m. to noon and in the afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Miss Kelly's also offers a full-day option from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (just bring a sack lunch). Camps are for children ages 3-10 who are potty-trained. Members and non-members are welcome to attend. Winter Break Art Camps at COCA

Sign up for Winter Break Camp at COCA and spend December 19, 22 & 23 doing unique and fun arts learning experiences. You'll find favorites from COCA's popular Summer Arts Camps all taught by COCA's faculty of experienced teaching artists. Winter Break Camps are available for ages 3-10. COCA camps are designed to engage all types of learners, and all art supplies, culinary camp groceries, technology supplies and equipment are included in the camp price. Before and after-care are available. Themes include Dragons, Fairies & Pirates, May the Force Be With You, A Play A Day, Circus Circus and more.

Winter Camps at Craft Alliance

Whether your young artist wants to sculpt with molten glass, learn to weave, or throw on the potter’s wheel, Craft Alliance has a camp for them. Their team of professional teaching artists know how to engage students with new skills while having fun. Winter Camps at Craft Alliance will be held at its expanded location in the Delmar Maker District. Holiday camps provide young artists with an outlet for exercising both critical and creative thinking through clay, fibers, metal, glass, and more. Camps are designed to engage youth in learning new and fun studio techniques by making amazing artworks. Winter Camps at Craft Alliance are held December 22-23 and December 29-31. Themes are Clay Creations, Fantastic Fibers, Flaming Glass, Fiber Arts Frenzy, Metal Mania, Paint Play, and Pottery.

Winter Camps at Upper Limits

Winter Break Camp at Upper Limits Climbing Gyms in Chesterfield and Maryland Heights offers a chance for your kids to stay active, learn new rock climbing skills, as well as learn about equipment and climbing techniques. Campers ages 7-15 take part in team-building activities, fun games, and open climbing in the climbing gym. Camps are broken up into half-day and full-day camps. Half-day camps run from 9 a.m. to noon and full-day camps run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Camp dates are December 22-23, December 29-30, and December 31-January 1. Winter Break Camp at Mad Science of St. Louis

Keep your child active and learning at Mad Science Winter Break Camp, held December 22-24 at Five Oaks on Warson. The theme is "Make It" and is for kids in kindergarten through grade 5. Camp is held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Register at stlouis.madscience.org.

Camp STLAG: Winter Break Camp at the St. Louis Artists Guild

Winter Camp at the St. Louis Artists Guild allows students to take art classes that develop their abilities and imaginations as they push themselves beyond what they think they are capable of achieving. The STLAG Winter Camps are held December 29, 30 & 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They include Winter Wonderland for ages 6-9, Nature in Winter for ages 10-13, and Figure Drawing for ages 14-18.
