Elementary Age

Lace up and leash up for a great cause! You and your dog are invited to run, jog, or walk in the Purple Leash 5K & Fun Run at Purina Farms. Compete for top dog in our 5K race or take it easy in our 1-mile fun run. Put your paws to the pavement and then head over to the TAILgate after party for food, drinks, music and more all while raising awareness for the Purple Leash Project. All purple outfits and purple dog gear are highly encouraged!

Tour the historic stables at Tower Grove Park and have the chance to meet the Clydesdale, Moonshine, and the pony, Sheffield, and see the historic structure where they are housed and cared for. This is a free public tour, but capacity is very limited and registration is required.

Join the Missouri Department of Conservation for its second annual Fall Frolic in Tower Grove Park. At this free event, you'll learn about all the flora and fauna that call Tower Grove Park home through autumn-centric activity stations and wildlife encounters!

Children can trick or treat in costume at participating downtown Kirkwood businesses and City Hall. 

Kids are the star of the show during the Central West End's Children's Costume Parade and Party. The parade begins at 11 a.m. followed by trick or treating at neighborhood businesses. 

Wolf Fest features fun activities, exhibits and demonstrations for all ages. Guests will enjoy a kid's area, live music and food trucks, see puppies born this spring, see animals from around the world, and meet some of the most endangered wolves in the world. 

The Saint Louis Art Fair is a free, three-day celebration of the visual and performing arts that includes a Creative Castle area for kids on Saturday and Sunday.
