Visit The Magic House for Halloween Magic, featuring outdoor experiences, decorating mini pumpkins, a not-so-spooky spiderweb maze, fun yard games, Halloween-themed trike town and all of your favorite Magic House exhibits – with a Halloween twist!

Get in touch with your contemporary side and spend the afternoon at Laumeier Sculpture Park constructing a unique tree sculpture. Learn how to attach, twist and alter upcycled and found materials into a festive, fabulous masterpiece to admire for holiday seasons to come.

Trade in sugary candy for healthy exercise and a fun swim in the wave pool! Bring leftover Halloween candy to The Lodge of Des Peres and receive one admission to enjoy the indoor wave pool. Registration is required and space is limited.

Can a gathering spot for what is almost certainly trouble somehow become a source of hope? In Seedfolks, compelling characters from diverse backgrounds explore the possibilities that spring from a vacant lot in a broken neighborhood in the middle of the city. Together, they plant seeds of hope and wait to see: will their dreams come true?

Get to know your SLSO! Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon on Sunday, October 9, at 3 pm with an entertaining 45-minute orchestral concert designed specifically for children ages 5-10. Conductor Norman Huynh and Professor Nigel Taproot from Really Inventive Stuff take you on a tour through Benjamin Britten’s Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra.
