This is your chance for your child to meet one of their favorite book characters!

Enjoy lots of fun activities to celebrate Children's Book Week at the St. Louis County Library. Library branches across the county will hold special events featuring your kids' favorite costume characters like Curious George, scavenger hunts, opportunities to make book-inspired crafts, themed parties and lots more. All events are free. 

Join the celebration in Forest Park to kick off Spring at the Steinberg Skating Rink. The Spring Festival at Steinberg includes activities for all ages, including outdoor roller skating, kids' activities, vendors, a make-a-Mother's-Day-card station, music, contests and more in a beautiful setting in Forest Park. The Starlight Cafe will be open, and there will be local vendors as well.

Kids will measure, mix and stir a magical batch of unicorn slime! This event is perfect for children of all ages, and playtime is included. Little ones will take away a souvenir too!

Celebrate the arrival of Spring at this family-friendly Community Day series Spring Fling at Tower Grove Park. There will be a variety of hands-on activities for all ages and live entertainment for the whole family.

Join the Missouri Botanical Garden on June 17 for Great Green Adventures: Interesting Insects and find out what insects call the Garden home.

What do senses tell you? Kids will learn to let their senses guide them on a walk through the Sensory Garden at this month's Great Green Adventures.
