Chinese Lantern Festival

The Lantern Festival is a yearly tradition in China, culminating in the Chinese New Year Celebration. With the help of the St. Louis Modern Chinese School and the Chinese Culture and Education Services, the magic of the Lantern Festival is coming to The Magic House.

Legendary Talent Show

Cheer Legendz presents its annual Legendary Talent Show on March 7. This popular event features singers, musicians, dancers, magicians, comedians and various other performers.

Entrants are welcome to register in advance to perform. There is a $20 fee per performance. Acts must be 3 minutes of less and be suitable for family audiences. All ages are welcome and the competition is open to all.

Admission to the show is $5 at the door (cash only). At Cheer Legendz in the Chesterfield Valley.

Hats Off to Dr. Seuss Party

Preschoolers can celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss at this party designed just for the little ones. There will be Dr. Seuss crafts and activities, reading and a snack. For ages 3-5.

Cost is $10 per child. Adults are free. Pre-registration is required.

Watch Your Back(pack)

Parents are invited to this free presentation and discussion on backpack safety and general health. Dr. Krystal Rupp, a chiropractic physician, will discuss appropriate weight and placement of backpacks, how to adjust straps correctly, stretching techniques for children, and offer nutrition suggestions.

Dr. Seuss Birthday Bash at The Magic House

The Magic House is hosting a special Dr. Seuss Birthday Bash!

Visitors to The Magic House will enjoy special story times featuring their favorite Dr. Seuss books, make their own Dr. Seuss hat and other crafts and shake paws with the Cat in the Hat himself.

Children 11 and under who bring in a new Dr. Seuss book ($5 minimum value) to be donated to a child in need will receive free museum admission during the Dr. Seuss weekend event.

Storytime in the Sugarbush

Little ones can gather 'round the sugarbush for fun stories. They'll learn about maple sugaring through stories told by naturalists, and eveyone will get to taste maple syrup. Most of the program is outdoors, so dress for the weather. Recommended for ages 3 to 5. 10:30 a.m. Free.
