In this live, free stage production, a young orphan girl who comes to live with her uncle in the English countryside discovers a garden filled with memories that has been locked for years.
The Eggstravaganza features spring blooms, snacks, a chance to win prizes, live rabbits (courtesy of the House Rabbit Society) and photo opportunities with Hopsy, the beloved Garden rabbit character.
Preschoolers, ages 3-5, can stretch, move and shake their bodies to become different animals, places and things at this free program.
Enjoy fall at historic Fort Belle Fontaine on a hay wagon where costumed re-enactors from the War of 1812, Civil War, World War II and other periods explain their uniforms and equipment.
History Hayrides at Fort Belle Fontaine are $7 a person and limited space is available. Some walking is required. Advance reservations are required.

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
Young visitors and their families are invited to the Energy Stage to enjoy interactive read-alouds of science-themed picture books. Story times are followed by a short demonstration or discussion connected to the book's main concepts.
