Little Medical School curriculums are aligned with STEM objectives, and bring medicine, science and the importance of health to children in an entertaining, exciting and fun way. Through hands-on demonstrations, crafts, and games, children are engaged as they explore the exciting world of medicine.

For children entering kindergarten through fifth grade. 

Experience flight and wonder at the Paper Kite Butterfly Festival at The Butterfly House. Watch paper kite butterflies fly through the tropical conservatory, see kite building demonstrations, build original butterflies. and decorate your very own kite to take home.

You're welcome to explore the new, 8,000 square-foot early childhood playground designed for children of all abilities at this free open play day and open house.

The playground includes play structures for preschoolers and toddlers, an infant-toddler area, a garden space with a watering area, a water feature for infants and toddlers and a drinking fountain. Little ones can also explore nature, music, art, sensory and dramatic play components. All area are designed so that children with disabilities can participate right along with typically developing children.

The first order attempts to rule the galaxy and only a ragtag group of heroes can stop them with the help of the resistance. Enjoy this free showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens at the West County Family YMCA in Chesterfield on Friday, April 8.

Admission is free, popcorn will be available for $1. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the movie begins at 7.

Kids can listen to stories with Aunt Peggy - complete with puppets and toys to make the stories come alive. After story time, it's time to ride the carousel!
