Metro Theater Company's Fall Family Festival

Celebrate 50 years of Metro Theater Company at the Fall Family Festival. Enjoy a full weekend of free theater, education and fun for families and young people. All are welcome at the Fall Family Festival, featuring multiple free performances each day of Metro Theater Company productions and a celebration of the creative spirit of the company's two co-founders Zaro Weil and Lynn Rubright. Plus, enjoy a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, and other hands-on learning activities for young people of all ages. Food trucks will be on-site for al fresco dining, and other arts and education partners from across the region are participating.

The Catbus is now boarding! The October First Friday at the Saint Louis Science Center will feature all things Studio Ghibli! Catch a screening of the beloved Studio Ghibli films Kiki's Delivery Service or My Neighbor Totoro in the OMNIMAX Theater. Explore the themes and science often used by Hayao Miyazaki from flight to environmental sustainability. Returning to the Saint Louis Zoo is the bird show “Winging It,” presented in partnership with World Bird Sanctuary. Birds will take the stage at the Lichtenstein Sea Lion Arena. In this amazing, free-flying presentation, a variety of exotic and native birds will demonstrate their natural abilities, and some will even soar over the audience.
