Things to do with kids in St. Louis

Enjoy farm-themed fun at The Magic House during the Fall Farm Festival. Families can meet and pet friendly farm animals like horses, cows, donkeys, pigs, goats, rabbits and chickens. Plus, kids can sit on a real tractor!

A St. Louis family favorite – the Children's Garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden – will close for the season October 31 - November 1. Children are invited to have an adventure exploring all the Garden has to offer before the gates close.

Dress up your kids in their favorite Halloween costumes and take them to Manchester's non-scary, family friendly Halloween Festival in Schroeder Park. You'll enjoy games, pumpkins, hayrides,  a costume contest and lots of candy. 

Celebrate reading at the Little Readers Festival. This free event features a variety of activities and performances, and kids ages 5 and under will receive free books and shaved ice. Activities will be provided by the Bubble Bus, Miss Libby's Music Party, Llama Llama Story Time, and more. Guests will also get to meet Fredbird and the St. Louis Blues mascot Louie from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.!

Kids are invited to decorate their bikes and families are encouraged to dress up in festive red, white and blue for the Central West End's July 4th Family Parade.

Join the City of Sunset Hills Parks + Recreation Department, the Sunset Hills Conservation Foundation adn the Kiwwanis Club of Sunset Hills and Crestwood for an interactive evening of amazing machinery, music, and food! A variety of trucks, vehicles, and machines will be on display for guests of all ages to enjoy.

Leapin' Lizards! Kids will have a wild time when The Magic House plays host to creatures big and small, from a mighty python to a tiny gecko!
