YMCA Camp Lakewood's summer overnight camp for boys and girls ages 6-17, only 90 minutes south of St. Louis, provides a well-rounded experience for campers by getting them outdoors having fun, making friends and conquering new skills. A 360-acre lake, 5,200 wooded acres, caves and creeks create many opportunities for adventure, exploration and experiential learning. YMCA Camp Lakewood offers four-day, one-week and two-week camp programs, and also ranch, leadership and wilderness programs, with optional electives, including high adventure, advanced arts & crafts, paintball, SNAG golf, horsemanship and more. Open House at YMCA Camp Lakewood

Camp Lakewood Open House are designed to give you and your children and teens the opportunity to meet the camp directors, ask questions and see the beautiful property. You'll get a tour of the camp, be able to speak with camp staff and be reassured that your camper will have the experience of a lifetime at YMCA Camp Lakewood.

With a 360-acre lake, over 5,000 acres of forest-covered hills, caves, creeks, and more, there are many opportunities for natural exploration and experiential learning.

YMCA Camp Lakewood is located 75 miles south of St. Louis between Potosi and Steelville, Missouri. It is a branch of the YMCA of Greater St. Louis and is accredited by the American Camp Association.

Halloween Weekend at YMCA Trout Lodge

Looking for lots of hair-raising, family-friendly fun? Trout Lodge and Camp Lakewood transform into a spooky destination for haunted hayrides, pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, and lots of frighteningly-fun games.

Whether you love to be scared or if you're looking for something a little less scary for the little ones, you'll find something for everyone at YMCA Trout Lodge this Halloween.

Great Pumpkin Jamboree Weekend

Celebrate the fall season jamboree-style at YMCA Trout Lodge. Enjoy picking pumpkin carving, hayrides, live music and square-dancing, pumpkin carving, carnival games, sweet treats cooked over an open fire, and breath-taking fall foliage. It's a great opportunity to climb the 50-foot tower and view the glorious colors from up high, or to take the colors in on a horseback ride. 

Families can enjoy all the fun activities at YMCA Trout Lodge at this fun weekend getaway. Rates include lodging, meals and many activities. Kids 0-5 stay free!

Parent-Child Adventure Weekend at YMCA Trout Lodge

Parent and child getaways support the health of parent/child relationships. This is why YMCA Trout Lodge offers special weekends full of amazing activities designed for quality parent-child time together.

There are Father-Daughter, Father-Son and Mother-Son categories, and each one has awesome activities for both you and your child: Archery, riflery, climbing tower, zip line, trail ride, hayride, tie dyeing and more.

Horse Overnight at YMCA Trout Lodge

Spend an evening with the cowboys and cowgirls from the Triangle Y Ranch during Horse Overnight weekends at YMCA Trout Lodge. Meet the Wranglers at the Ranch and pair up with a trusty steed for a two-hour ride to a bluff overlooking beautiful Sunnen Lake.

Mount back up for a ride to the Ranch, where you’ll bed down for the night at a rustic campsite with dinner cooked over an open fire. The Triangle Y Wranglers will entertain you around a cozy campfire for an evening filled with plenty of good cowboy conversation and s’mores.

Wake up to breakfast cooked dutch-oven style on Sunday morning, then head back to the barn for a short trail ride before enjoying an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch. $99 per person; ages 10 and up only; under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum of 12 people and minimum of 6.

Pirate Adventures at YMCA Trout Lodge

Set sail for Trout Lodge, ya salty sea dogs, and join in on an adventure to find buried treasure. Keep a weathered eye open mateys, there are pirates lurking around every corner.

Beat those scurvy dogs to the treasure by visiting all of the activities at Trout Lodge! Your family can take part in map-making, a pirate costume contest a gold rush and lots more.
