The Waldorf School of St. Louis offers students rigorous academics in a developmentally appropriate environment. At the Spring Open House, prospective families can tour the classrooms and campus, discover the school's Early Childhood and Grade School curriculum and meet with the experienced faculty.

The Waldorf School of St. Louis aims to make learning enriching, relevant and meaningful to help students develop intrinsic motivation and inspire a lifetime of learning. The Waldorf approach considers and caters to each area of a child's three-fold being - their body, mind, and unique spirit. The Waldorf curriculum is designed to inspire these elements and provide the lessons and environment that help students develop their full potential.

Academics and the arts are integrated with abundant physical movement, outdoor time, and hands-on experiences to immerse students in developing a lifelong love of learning.

The Spring Open House will be held Saturday, April 9 at 9 a.m. Registration is required.

Science Tots is designed for children ages 18 to 36 months. The class provides opportunities to support brain development and learning. Toddlers and their grown-ups will explore STEM topics through songs, stories, hands-on exploration and play.

Child development researchers at Washington University School of Medicine are inviting 4-7-year-old children and a caregiver to participate in a study investigating what children know about suicide along with risk factors for experiencing suicidality early in life. We are seeking children who have and who have not experienced suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Children who participate will 1) answer brief questions about their understanding of suicide (we want to learn what children at different ages know, we do not teach them anything new), 2) play games, and 3) complete a safe and non-invasive EEG. A dozen of the world’s most iconic Looney Tunes—What’s Opera, Doc?, The Rabbit of Seville, Corny Concerto, Baton Bunny, Long-Haired Hare, and many others—plus five brand-new animated shorts—will be projected on the big screen, while their exhilarating original scores are played live by the SLSO, conducted by George Daugherty.
