Families with kids of all ages can enjoy the sunset as they hike through the prairie trail and discover not-so-scary Halloween fun. This self-guided hike has stations along the way for you to learn about the animals of Halloween, such as bats, cats, owls and more. You'll even meet an owl from the World Bird Sanctuary. Stick around to enjoy s'mores around the campfire. Costumes are welcome!
6-8 p.m. at Shaw Nature Reserve. Registration is required. Cost is $7 per child for members of the Missouri Botanical Garden and Shaw Nature Reserve passholders. $9 per child for the general public. Adults are free with accompanying children.

Kids can work on existing gym skills, learn new skills or just play around during Open Gym at Miss Kelly's Gym. Reservations are not necessary.
Science Tots is designed for children ages 18 to 36 months. The class provides opportunities to support brain development and learning. Toddlers and their grown-ups will explore STEM topics through songs, stories, hands-on exploration and play.
Aspiring superheros will have the opportunity to conquer an obstacle course, hang out with special guest superheroes and be assigned a mission as part of Superhero Training Day.
