The city of O’Fallon, Mo., throws a fantastic, family-friendly celebration at the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex over the 4th of July holiday.
Carnival rides, live entertainment by popular country artists and rock bands, a parade, and dazzling displays of fireworks are all part of the 4th of July fun at the Heritage and Freedom Fest July 1-4.
Looking for fireworks? The show takes off at 10:15 p.m. on July 3 and 9:30 p.m. on July 4.
The parade is on July 4 beginning at 9:30 a.m. along Main Street.
The Heritage and Freedom Fest is happening July 1 (carnival only) from 4 to 10 p.m., July 2 (Family Night) from 4 to 10 p.m., July 3 from 4 to 11 p.m., and July 4 from noon to 10 p.m.

Visit the Animal Protective Association (APA) of Missouri for a free story time for preschoolers and help foster their love of animals. Kids will learn about caring for our four-legged friends as well as be entertained by fun stories and make a craft. They'll even meet a furry friend! Geared to ages 2-5.
