In this new production from COCA, the Center of Creative Arts, 12-year-old Simon lives an overwhelming and overscheduled life, but they really want to find a place where they can stop and think. At the same time, on the other side of the universe, The Kid at the Edge of Everything lives alone, bored, and isolated. Following a startling sequence of events involving "lots and lots of fireworks" and a rocket ship, their worlds collide, changing the trajectory of the children's lives forever.

Celebrate Laumeier’s Earth Day Week by visiting the Park with a family member and getting creative! Spend time with a family member learning how to build a bee hotel that can be filled with hollow tubes, nesting blocks and natural materials that will keep solitary bees warm during the winter months. 

Kick off this evening egg hunt with a pizza party, followed by a flashlight dance party, and then an adventurous egg hunt in Kirkwood Park under the night sky. 

Kids ages 10 and under can hunt for eggs, win prizes and meet the Easter Bunny at this egg hunt open to all, held in Vago Park, Maryland Heights. Pre-registration is required. 

Learn about health and how it connects to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics), at Healthy STEAM Day. Visitors will participate in experiments, demonstrations and maybe an explosion or two!
