Don't miss the 48th annual Potpourri event at John Burroughs School, one of the oldest and largest garage sales in the St. Louis area. Free admission and parking.

The school's field house will be filled with more than 28,000 square feet of bargains: furniture, clothings, toys, books, small electronics, household items and much more. The sale is open to all.

Get kids moving and learning and find out about ways your whole family can have fun and be healthier at this free family event at your local branch of the Gateway Region YMCA.

At Healthy Kids Day, happening at YMCA branches across the St. Louis metro area, you can learn about the Y's programs for kids and adults, find out about summer camp opportunities, take part in games like kickball, take sampler classes, arts and crafts, kid-friendly yoga, free health screenings and lots more. Activities vary depending on the branch. Activities are free and open to the public.

Your whole family will love this sweet opportunity to have lots of fun while helping a good cause. Enjoy unlimited ice cream and treats from a variety of vendors while exploring The Magic House while it's closed to the public.

Explore the Phantom Forest and Bittersweet Woods Conservation areas during this spring hike for all ages. You'll enjoy the freedom and fun of nature while bonding with your kids during these themed hikes, sponsored by the City of Des Peres and the Lodge of Des Peres. 

During this hike, you'll learn how animals in the forest hide in plain site.

Play outside at The Magic House! Celebrate National Get Outdoors Day with some good old-fashioned outdoor recreation. Fresh-air fun will fill the museum's front and back yards, promoting health through movement and play.

Kids can get behind the wheel as ceramicists from Krueger Pottery demonstrate the art of working with clay. Kids will coil, pinch and throw their own earthenware creations. Part of the Visiting Artist Series.

Saturday, May 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Enjoy a fun play time at the Carousel in Faust Park. Kids ages 5 and under, along with a parent or caregiver, can enjoy the play room and rides on the carousel between 10 a.m. and noon. Play & Ride dates are subject to change, so please check the full listing before you plan to go.
