
Make music this summer! The Community Music School of Webster University offers a variety of summer music programs for all ages, including Kindermusik® Family Camp (6 months – 5 years); String Orchestra Camp (age 7 - high school); Chamber Music Encounter (by audition); Flute Camp (grades 7-12); Band Camp (grades 7-12); Composition Intensive (grades 7-12); "Clazz" String Intensive (ages 12 & up); Songwriting Camp (grades 9-12); Adult String Orchestra (ages 19+); Beginner Strings Adult Class (ages 19+); and the MOCM Adult Chamber Music Intensive (21+). Kindermusik® Family Camp is offered in 2 locations – Webster Groves and Faust Park in Chesterfield. All other camps are at our main location at Webster University.
Ready to start lessons on an instrument or avoid a summer slump? CMS also offers a six-week summer session of individual lessons on all instruments of the band and orchestra, piano, guitar, and voice. Adults too! Piano and guitar students start at age 6; string students at age 7-8; wind and brass students at age 9-10; and voice at age 12. We have lesson locations in Webster Groves and Chesterfield.

Activities include strawberry picking, festival foods, pony rides, children’s playground, a petting zoo, carnival rides, wagon rides and more.
Children's activities include storytelling, arts and crafts, mask-making and educational workshops. In conjunction with the festival, the Saint Louis Zoo will have special activities focused on a different African animal each day.
Schlafly Art Outside is a three-day invitational art fair featuring affordable art from more than 60 artists based in the St. Louis region. Enjoy quality art, tasty food, local brews and live music. There will also be a Kids Corner sponsored by Artists First with hands-on art activities at this family-friendly festival.
Kids can work on existing gym skills, learn new skills or just play around during Open Gym at Miss Kelly's Gym. Reservations are not necessary.
Experience a day at the beach without having to go any further than The Magic House! The popular Sandcastle Beach features tons of sand, hidden seashells to dig up and even beach umbrellas on the "shores" of The Magic House!
