Kids can meet a variety of living beetles from The Butterfly House and learn interesting facts about them while practicing their observation skills. Participants will also paint three rocks with a beetle and take the rocks home to add to their garden.
Enjoy Open Play on the obstacle courses at Ultimate Ninjas in Chesterfield on Monday, Feb. 18. Families are welcome to enjoy the customizable obstacle courses and work on skills as a family from 1 to 3 p.m.

Her classmates tease Wanda about her hundred dresses until one day she disappears from school. As guilt overtakes the children, they decide to find out what happened to Wanda and to make amends. But is it too late? Bullying, friendship, and forgiveness as at the center of this play adapted from the beloved Newberry Honor Book by Eleanor Estes.

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
Free outdoor concerts are back at the Missouri History Museum. The May series of concerts features favorite bands, food trucks, and exhibits inside the museum that are open to the public on concert nights. Concerts are held from 6-8 p.m.
