Elementary Age

Enjoy tons of family fun at Chesterfield's Fall Festival. There will be live music, miniature pony rides, a petting zoo, carnival rides, pumpkin painting, a mechanical bull, balloon twisters, a photo booth, hay rides and plenty of festival food. Visit the vendor area to shop for crafts, too.

Join the St. Louis Public Library and Great Rivers Greenway at the St. Vincent Greenway: Ruth Porter Mall Park Storybook Walk at Delmar/DeBaliviere for a group read of the storybook of the month, “The World In Our Backyard” by Jami Gigot and outdoor activities.

Gather at Debaliviere Circle surrounding the Missouri History Museum for the Great Gather Round,  a community meal on the St. Vincent's Greenway. There will be activities and games for all ages, local food trucks, free sweet treat, music with DJ Jillian, and more.

It's the Not-So-Haunted House that is oh-so-fun, where storybook characters come alive! Kids are invited to dress in their most "boo-tiful" Halloween costumes and have a ghoulishly good time going on a spook-tacular scavenger hunt throughout The Magic House to find trick-or-treat locations and seeing their favorite storybook characters.

Take part in a free yoga session just for kids! Children's yoga, presented by Complete Harmony, is held at the Brentwood Public Library on Thursdays from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Classes include stories, movement and mindfulness and are geared for children up to age 5. Bring a yoga mat or towel.

Enjoy food from dozens of local restaurants and refreshments from local breweries and wineries. There will also be lots of vendor booths featuring farmers and artisans, and live music.

Trick or Track is a family Halloween celebration featuring a costume parade and trick or treating around the National Museum of Transportation in Kirkwood.
