Longmeadow Rescue Ranch is hosting its annual Spring Fling for families on April 18. The fun includes an up-close look at the Longmeadow Rescue Ranch horses, wagon rides through the 165-acre state-of-the-art horse farm and animal rehabilitation facility, and lots more.

The Doris I. Schnuck Children's Garden reopens for the season at the Missouri Botanical Garden for the general public. The garden introduces youngsters at their most impressionable age to the significance of plants and nature in fun and innovative ways. 

March brings a very special kind of tropical madness to the Butterfly House in Faust Park! Thousands of breathtaking Blue Morpho butterflies take up residence to welcome spring.

Don't be late for this very important date! The Fancy Tea Party at the Butterfly House will have you feeling fancy and acting silly while enjoying tasty treats, delightful drinks, and fun crafts with Wonderland's most curious guest. Visitors can go in search of the while rabbit as adventure takes you through the gardens of The Butterfly House.

Kids will feel like they've jumped into a fairy tale at the Princess & Unicorn Tea Party. This magical morning brings together princesses and unicorns to a royal tea party and princess sing-a-long! Arts and crafts projects will be led by Elsa and Belle, and attendees will meet a real unicorn accompanied by adorable little bunnies!

It's Monster Machines Day at Des Peres Park! See a police car, tow truck, bulldozer, fire truck and much more up close during this hands-on, free event. Kids can climb in and look around and let their imaginations take them on a ride. 

Grab a rod and reel and bring your kids to Des Peres Park for the Youth Fishing Derby. Kids ages 3-12 can participate in morning fishing, the Longest Fish Contest, and most fish caught in each age division. Bring your own fishing pole and bait. Registration is required.
