Calling all superheroes! The earth needs kids' help! Join The Magic House and Gateway Greening for a Super Kids Earth Day celebration. 

Kids can get their hands dirty as they plant seeds to start their own garden at home. They'll learn about where food comes from, how composting can reduce your trash and why saving the planet can be down and dirty fun!

Leaping Lizards! STAGES St. Louis is proud to present its second annual production of Annie Jr. live on stage.

Watch as the irrepressible comic strip heroine takes center stage in one of the world's most loved musicals.

Performances are Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m., Feb. 6 at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 7 at 2:30 p.m.

Goldilocks

In this fun, new musical take on the well-known tale, Goldilocks learns some much-needed lessons about friendship and acceptance when she meets Freddy, a bear with a penchant for science.

Presented by the Imaginary Theatre Company. For ages 5-10. 

Free. The performance begins at 6:30 at the Headquarters Branch of the St. Louis County Library. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Book Buddies Training for Kids: Shelter Pet Reading Program

The Book Buddies Shelter Pet Program lets kids to adore animals make a real difference in the lives of shelter pets.

As part of the Book Buddies Shelter Pet Program with the Humane Society of Missouri, kids ages 6-12 are trained to read to shelter pets. Reading to the shelter dogs helps to bring comfort them and reduces anxiety. It also makes the pet more adoptable. Reading helps shy dogs learn to relax around people and teaches high energy dogs and calm behavior is desirable.
