Visit the University City Farmer's Market and take the kids for a free petting farm! Visit the adorable farm animals at the market, including a mini horse, mini cow, goat, mini pig, turtle, a duck and a big fluffy dog. The petting farm is provided by Cowboy Critters and is free. 

The Butterfly House becomes The BOOterfly House in October to celebrate all things creepy and crawly. Kids can hang out with Professor Von Flytrap and his friends in the Creepy Crawly Cave and have lots of hair-raising fun.

Little Buds is a half-day nature program for kids ages 3-6 hosted by Laumeier Sculpture Park. At the Little Buds Free Family Day, kids and parents can participate in art and nature activities and learn about the Little Buds program.

Daytime Playtime is an open gym for children ages 2-5 where the possibilities for fun and learning (through fun) are endless! Children will participate in activities that build coordination, strength, balance and self-confidence. They'll develop stronger motor skills, social skills, and take part in theme-based creative activities.

On-field activities include autograph signings, student-athlete meet and greets, football skill games with the players, yard games, inflatables, face painting, and more.

Help the Butterfly House celebrate its birthday by ringing in 26 years of providing memorable experiences for St. Louis area families. Enjoy crafts, games, animal encounters, a temporary tattoo station and prizes.
