Cyclocross Color Fun Ride

Join Spielberg Fitness and Junior Stars Cycling for the Cyclocross Color Fun Ride. The is a hybrid of an all-terrain biking adventure and color fun run.

No previous experience is needed. The color run ride includes a bike course full of obstacles, colored dust, bubbles, squirt guns, silly string and more. 

Registration includes an event t-shirt. The first 10 people to register get a free water bottle. Registration opens at 9:15 a.m.; the ride starts at 10 a.m. Free, but a $10 donation is suggested. Sponsored by Spielberg Fitness.

Art Invasion Benefit Concert

Your family can rock along with live music featuring Flaming Pie and A Tribute to the Beatles at Art Invasion, a benefit concert that also features lots of activities for kids. There will be art activities available for children of all ages provided by Art Unleashed (formerly Chesterfield Arts). Admission is free but donations are welcome.

Proceeds benefit Chesterfield Public Sculpture Projects and Art Unleashed. Coolers, blankets and chairs are permitted, but no outside food. Concessions will be open and food vendors will serve food.

Play 60 Mini Mudder with the St. Louis Rams

7/16/15: UPDATE: Due to a scheduling conflict, the St. Louis Rams have cancelled this event.

 

Join the St. Louis Rams for the inaugural Play 60 Mini Mudder on July 18. This is an event for the whole family, with special guests the Rams cheerleaders, Rampage, the Rams Play 60 Bus and DJ Pru. Kids can participate in a one-mile muddy obstacle course. There will also be Rams inflatables and food trucks.

Safety Town Open House Registration Night

Safety Town is a nationally recognized preschool safety program that teaches 4, 5, and 6-year-olds about a wide variety of safety issues, including bicycle safey, water safety, school bus safety and stranger danger. The program includes classroom activities as well as outside, hands-on activities in the miniature Safety Town city.

The program is hosted and staffed by the Chesterfield Police Department in cooperation with the Chesterfield Rotary, Chesterfield Kiwanis and the Parkway School District. The program is conducted for six, two-week sessions during the summer months.

Sea Lion Shows at the Saint Louis Zoo

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
