Remember the old days of mud pits and mud pies? Here is the chance to relive some of the joys of your childhood with your children. Powder Valley will provide the dirt, you bring the clean clothes for the ride home.

Missouri Master Naturalist volunteers will teach your family about the importance of aquatic food chains and wetlands and how to care for them using hands-on, interactive activities.

Are snakes really slimy? How do they move, smell, hear and catch food? Little ones (ages 4-6) can learn about snakes and observe live snakes found in Missouri. They'll even be able to touch a snake if they want to,.

Come prepared to take a short hike to see if any snakes can be observed in their natural habitat. For ages 4-6 with a parent or caregiver.

Spring brings with it warm weather, birds singing, flowers blooming and bees buzzing. Spend the first official day of Spring outside and take in the sights and sounds that nature offers at this free program for all ages.

Being in the woods at night is an adventure. Ever wonder about the animals that are hooting it up every evening?

Bring your furry friend and test your paddling prowess on the Post-Dispatch Lake at The Boathouse in Forest Park.

No pooch? No problem! Spectators are welcome. 

Heats are at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. with the championship heat at 3:30 p.m. The entry fee is $40 per dog and master team.

A portion of the proceeds from the race will be donated to Forest Park Forever.

Kids ages 6 and up can learn about lizards, such as: What do they eat? Do lizards really lose their tails? They'll also take part in fun lizard activities and crafts.
