Many St. Louis family attractions have re-opened with limited capacity and enhanced safety protocols for visitors and staff. Many are hosting virtual and socially distanced events, which you'll find in our Things To Do calendar. Public health experts recommend that when you go out, follow public health guidelines: wear masks (required in St. Louis City and County), practice social distancing and wash your hands frequently.

Luau at the Park

Join in on a family friendly luau at Schroeder Park. Families should bring a picnic dinner, then kids can go play, make crafts, have a dance party and play games. Adults must stay in the park but can go for a walk, play tennis/pickleball, disc golf, or just enjoy some peace and quiet.

Family Movie Night at Vago Park in Maryland Heights
Friday, October 2, 2020

Bring your picnics, lawn chairs and blankets for a free family movie. Arrive early and enjoy free ice cream, courtesy of the Maryland Heights Police Department and Fire District starting at 6:30 p.m. All attendees will need to observe 6 foot social distancing guidelines while attending the movie. Pre-registration is required.

Christmas in July at the Brentwood Community Center

Beat the heat and celebrate Christmas early this year at Christmas in July with the Brentwood Parks & Rec Department. Wear your best Christmas attire and bring your holiday spirit while enjoying a morning filled with games, crafts and fun. You'll even have the chance to have a glass of milk and cookies with Santa Claus! Pre-registration and parent participation is required. For ages 2 and up.

Free Socially Distanced Movie in the Park

See Toy Story 4 for free at the Schroeder Park Amphitheater in Manchester. Bring blankets or lawn chairs for your family's seating. The movie starts around 8 p.m. or when the sun goes down. Social distancing guidelines must be observed. Concessions will be open.

Cupcake Creation

Kids can enjoy an evening at the Brentwood Community Center where they'll have a chance to bake, decorate and then eat the cupcakes they create! They'll learn new and exciting ways to decorate a cupcake using different ingredients and toppings. Each parent and child will have the opportunity to bring home their cupcakes at the end of the class.

Join in on the superhero fun! At this outdoor event, kids ages 4 and up will participate in superhero-themed arts and crafts. Each child will have the opportunity to create their own superhero mask and cape to take home. Dress up as your favorite superhero for all to see
