
Learn about weather, how to identify animal tracks or make your own nature art at the St. Louis Mercantile Library's Audubon and Beyond Family Day.
The St. Louis Mercantile Library is located on the campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis. This free Family Day is focused on the library's Audubon and Beyond exhibit, which features botany, zoology and natural history. In addition, partner organizations will have exhibits, including the Missouri Department of Conservation, Wildlife Rescue Center, Milkweed for Monarchs and the Audubon Center at Riverlands.
The Mercantile Library is located on the first floor of the Thomas Jefferson Library building on UMSL's North Campus. Free parking is available in the West Drive Garage South adjacent to the library.
Family Day is free and will be held from 1 to 3 p.m.

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
Storytelling in the Museum is an in-person storytelling event happening at 10:30 a.m. at the Missouri History Museum. This event, perfect for the preschool set, features engaging stories with themes like Juneteenth, Sweet Treats, Summer and more. Storytelling in the Museum is free.
Explore songs, finger plays, music and more during this Music & Movement class for ages 0-6. Some sessions are held in person at various branches of the St. Louis County Library. Some sessions are virtual.
