Celebrate International Polar Bear Day at the Saint Louis Zoo with special activities for all ages. Kids can play interactive games to explain how climate change impacts polar bears, you'll learn about polar bears and their role in Alaska Native communities and get a closer look at polar bear biofacts and their amazing adaptations. Be sure to visit the Zoo's own Kali, the 6-year-old, 1,350-pound polar bear and watch as he interacts with interesting enrichment activities.
Special Keeper Chats and Polar Bear Enrichment activities will be held at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The magical sights of the Gateway Arch Park Foundation's Winterfest return to downtown St. Louis this holiday season. Winterfest includes family fun, beautiful holiday lights, s'mores stations, ice skating and festive activities and fireworks, plus special character visits and a New Year's Eve celebration.
Sensory Friendly Science Time features reduced noise, modified lighting and sensory-friendly demonstrations at the Saint Louis Science Center.
Winterfest 2025 will host special guests on Sundays. Some of your kids' favorite characters will appear for free meet & greets and photo opportunities at Kiener Plaza's annual winter festival.
